Our Story
Lorri Matthewson has been working in the economic development industry for over two decades. Before branching out on her own, she worked as an economic development officer for a community and then a grant writer for several years. During this time, Lorri recognized the gap between the services that municipal Councils are expected to provide and the limited resources available to provide them - which lead to the idea of starting her own business. In 2015, Lorri went back to school - attending Cape Breton University, where she graduated with an MBA in Community Economic Development in 2019. Since then, the team has grown from a solo operation to a five person team, with room for future growth.
